Personal Statement

I'm getting really tired of looking at it/writing it/thinking about it. But it is MY GOAL to get it done this week. How do I put down the words in my head? How do I tell someone about myself in just a page and a half? Its really difficult. And I'm so worried about someone criticizing my writing. I don't like the criticism. i don't like the editing process. I don't like writing, as it turns out. I think I started to figure that out in my English 300 class.
How do I tell a person all of my stories, and all of my reasons for my actions? How do i tell them about the light bulb moment that people have? How do I tell them that I want to improve the beauty in the world, hence my real passion for cosmetic dentistry? How do I tell them that I love, love, LOVED organic chemistry? How do I tell them it is a miracle that I even passed chemistry? How do I tell them that I suffered through a class that I found interesting but SUCKED at, just to get better? How do I tell them I did it 3 times? Its just really difficult for me to put this all down in a way that makes logical sense. My mind always goes all over the place. I think of some really great one-liners... my challenge is making it all flow. \
Hmmm... back to writing.

Tired and its only Monday

The title says it all. The boyfriend stayed until 4:30 this morning. I'm amazed he's still standing, because I'm amazed that I'm still standing. But I've got to get started on this lab write up if I'm ever going to get this studying done for bio on Thursday. Well, here goes...

Pasta and music

Just made some pasta and asparagus with the boyfriend :) Also have an apple tart in the oven! Its going to be a good night. The boyfriend may even stay a night. That would be a first, him staying here on a Sunday night. He'll have to leave at 4:30 am to make it back home in time, but he'll do it. I'm excited to spend one more night with him. Listening to Barenaked Ladies.

Sat morning...

Any by that, I mean Saturday afternoon. I have been in bed all day, and its been great! A well deserved rest :) Today's to-do: homework, Alice and Wonderland @3:15, Alice and Wonderland party @9, and sleep again! Yeah.... :)
